crafting stories
for a living planet.

IN A NUTSHELL

Our mission is to keep nature at the forefront of everyone’s hearts and minds.

We work with communities, institutions, and a global network of storytellers dedicated to protecting the natural world. We share free and curated imagery through our Oceanic Library, provide camera equipment and mentorship through our Fellowship, and create impact-driven films and campaigns.

  • A curated collection of marine photography and video, freely available to individuals and nonprofits working in conservation.

  • We make films, run impact campaigns, and offer science and conservation-focused communication services that foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature.

  • We equip emerging nature storytellers with the skills and tools to share local, conservation-driven narratives. Our Fellows create impactful work to highlight the natural world.

  • Kogia is mostly powered by volunteers, funders and partnerships. If you’re interested in getting involved, reach out to us!

The Oceanic Library

A curated library of photos and videos of the marine world, built for conservation.

Our library members range from small-scale organizations and educational institutions, to individual marine biologists and scientists. We also share imagery with large multi-national NGOs and governmental agencies.
